Giving Tuesday Now

What is #GivingTuesdayNow. It is a global day of giving and unity that will take place on May 5, 2020 as an emergency response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19.

A global threat like COVID-19 affects more than just the infected. A pandemic like this touches every person on the planet, and it presents an opportunity to come together as a global community.

Together we’ll show our support for frontline workers, unsung heroes, and the grassroots organizations that are helping our most vulnerable communities around the world. Mark your calendar for May 5, 2020 and get ready for the most epic #GivingTuesday yet.

***While the Community Center is not open to the general public, and we cannot offer rentals or provide events right now, our Food Pantry remains open to serve our friends and neighbors. As with other food pantries across the nation, the need has increased, and we are buying what we can when we can.

The pantry serves those who live in the 740-869 exchange, or those that have a Mt. Sterling address, and fall within the Federal income guidelines.

You may find eligibility information at
Select “Get Help/Get Food” and select “Madison” under food assistance by County.
If you are a new client, bring a photo id.

If you can, your help would be greatly appreciated. To contribute to the Mount Sterling Community Center on #GivingTuesdayNow, or at any time, log in to and select Give Now and The Giving Store and choose Mount Sterling Community Center.
