From growing up as a tractor-driving farm boy in Mt. Sterling, Ohio, to becoming the CEO of one of the world’s largest record labels in Moscow, Russia, David Junk has quite a story to tell, and he’s coming back to his hometown to share it!
Join us at the Mt. Sterling Community Center on Saturday, September 12 at 10:00 AM for a special author event featuring David Junk, local author of Rockin’ the Kremlin: My Incredible True Story of Gangsters, Oligarchs, and Pop Stars in Putin’s Russia.
During the event, Junk will share stories from his remarkable career and experiences living and working in Russia’s music industry. His talk will explore everything from the Eurovision Song Contest and terrorist attacks in Moscow to his discovery of the internationally known female pop duo t.A.T.u.
This is a unique opportunity to hear firsthand how someone with roots right here in Mt. Sterling found himself at the center of the Russian music industry, and the extraordinary experiences that came along the way.
